Mick Griep and his team helped me launch my business through first listening and understanding how I wanted my property to function for my concierge healthcare clinic. Each property tour Mick selected based on my criteria and used as an opportunity to illustrate how the property could be shaped to help the flow of my practice and the features that would make it more or less difficult to achieve my vision, this created the space for me to understand as much about the process as I could so that I was able to judge a property as a good fit or not. Mick was attentive and always updating on communications and the status of requests to view properties, also accommodating new opportunities in my business that changed the nature of the search from the original conception. Mick's deep knowledge of the local commercial market and his connections to the people on the other side of the deal ensured we only looked at properties that were real contenders for my project. With each showing and conversation we honed in closer on the right property until it presented itself at the perfect time, knowing no stone had been left unturned in the current market. Mick's guidance was instrumental to a successful launch for my practice.

I'll start by saying that Commercial Real Estate NW is amazing - collectively as a team and as individuals, they held our hand through the entire process, pushed us when we needed it, and cautioned us on stuff when we were over our skis. They have the team that can help you sublease current space, find a new building, lease out said building, and they have a great network of resource providers they've curated, which you'll need, especially if this is your first CRE adventure! Communication is also key throughout the process, and whether I had a question during the day, or in the evening on the weekend, they were always there for us. My only criticism? That they may be too responsive (sometimes I just wanted to leave a voicemail)! They were always there for us, especially during crunch time as closing neared. Denise, Mick, Alyssa, all played an integral role in our most recent transactions. I wouldn't do it again with anyone else. They seemed genuinely committed to us succeeding, where a lot of CRE teams are about getting a deal done.

Denise and her team worked hard for us! They were flexible and helpful the whole time through. I leaned on Denise's expertise, Mick showed the property whenever we needed, and Alyssa magically secured all the paperwork we needed on our complex project. I'm very thankful for our experience and would recommend them in a heartbeat!

Mick Griep at Commercial Real Estate NW was fantastic to work with. We began our search with a short timeline and very specific requirements. Mick took the lead with the two locations that we wanted to open. He worked quickly and effectively to negotiate a deal that we feel will allow us to be successful long term. Thank you to Commercial Real Estate NW for their great customer service and we will be working with them again in the future! -Dr. Stephen Fritz PDX Allergy

So, after 48 years of practicing law in downtown Portland the time had sadly come to leave the city. I knew this would be tough as the city had been just a wonderful place to practice. Anyhow, I looked online and started checking out a couple of the larger office buildings in Oswego with a pleasant and capable realtor from the city. The chemistry and locations just weren't what I hoped for and so I kept on looking. Luckily I stumbled on Mick Griep who is hooked up with a small but worthwhile commercial firm...We met down at Oswego Pointe and right off the bat had an open and quite candid discussion of the location and neighbors. Know how you once in awhile get a really good feeling in a business setting? That's the sense I got from the get go with Mick. He was honest, and thorough. He was not rushed and it was clear to me that he wanted to see this lease go through because after a bit, he felt it was right for everyone on both sides of the transaction. We had one of those conversations early on which cemented in my mind the integrity of this fellow. I was wondering about how his commission worked and would work if I decided to have someone represent me in the negotiation. I had not negotiated a lease in decades and was concerned if I might be missing some important aspects of this pretty heavy duty commitment to spend the last three years of a long practice in this new spot. Mick - no hesitation in spelling out everything to me of how having my own realtor would affect his earnings. Fairly impressive to me. Mick didn't want to pull the rabbit lease out of a hat. He did his best to help me understand the aspects of the small print lease which is the hallmark of today's commercial world. I stayed with Mick alone and now it's been over a month later. I have pitched him a dozen or so other questions which he has quickly caught and responded to right away and helpfully. He knew his stuff and a couple of times quipped that this would be good for those on both sides of the transaction. He genuinely was concerned that he was making not just a good deal, but a good match for everyone. Any questions? I am not tough to find and would be happy to try and answer anything about this positive experience. Larry Sokol Portland/Lake Oswego

We have high praise for Mick and work he did for us when we looked to relocate our corporate space. He was thorough in his research and prioritized our schedule when setting up viewings. When we found our perfect solution, it was a complicated scenario to negotiate. Again, Mick was very thorough and professional as he worked with multiple parties to reach a deal where everyone felt like they won. We will definitely work with Mick in the future and recommend you do too!
